LYGA studio.

LYGA studio is an architectural and interior design practice founded by Lycia and Gaia Trapani. They are real Sicilians and their strong passion for the sea is clear in their projects. LYGA’s idea of Sicily is inspired by the Mediterranean and Europe. Their designs reimagine the past with a contemporary approach. Gaia and Lycia’s complementary backgrounds, set design and architectural conservation, contribute to the comprehensiveness and originality of their works. Their projects are a perfect synthesis between innovation and tradition, detail and chromatic harmony with a strong use of colour.

RebelArchitette, is an Italian not for profit association advocating for equality, respect and justice in architecture.

In 2018 we were flash mobbing in Venice together with VowArchitects thanks to a generous call made by Caroline James and Louise Braverman architects.

When invited by Alessandro Melis to coordinate a section entitled  Decolonising the Built Environment, we decided to share this opportunity with all the Italian female professionals we would love to see in newspapers, books, conferences for their outstanding value.

Enjoy and let us know what you think 😉
